Lotus has confirmed plans for a production version of the concept car to build.
Speaking to Auto, Executive Director Dany Bahar, said: "We have this (Car City) is, along with protons and other equipment manufacturers." While he declined to say who the other automakers, he said, would be "one for the Asian market, one for Europe and the athletic one."
By carrying the Lotus badge (at least in Europe), highly developed the City Car Proton. It's kind of a bummer, but Lotus is focused on building a new sports car like Elan, Esprit, and Elite.
